These boards are based on a four-page fan script I wrote for The Ghost and Molly McGee before the show aired. ( I do NOT work on the show, just loved the characters and thought it would be fun to use for a portfolio piece!) I wrote the script in Highland and drew the boards in Storyboard Pro. STUDIES
In order to learn the style of the show, I sat down with my iPad and some tea, and redrew the characters from reference on YouTube. Below are some of those studies - most of these are from the First Day Frights clip released in October of 2020 on Disney’s YouTube channel, some of the studies are from the animatic song mix also released on Disney’s YouTube channel - just to clarify these are just studies, used for educational purposes! All credit to the original artists! The purpose of showing these here is just to give you a sense of how I study and use reference in my work.
